This exhibition takes a look at the manufacture of glamour by focusing on Academy Award winning Hollywood star,
Joan Crawford (1904-1977). The Joan Crawford Effect will feature 1930s and 1940s suits and evening gowns from
the permanent collection demonstrating the impact on women’s fashions that Joan Crawford had when she
collaborated with her favorite MGM costume designer, Adrian. A drop in event with a fabulous guided tour.
