An anthology film about the useful lessons that remain after the ex has gone on their way. Five women tell their stories through a wide array of deftly crafted mixed media and mixed emotions.
Lyn’s films have screened widely at national and international venues, including the
National Gallery of Art, the IFC Center, the South by Southwest Film, and the Seoul
International Women’s Film Festival. She is a professor of Film and Media Arts
at the University of Missouri-Kansas City.
Caitlin is an artist, curator and teacher based in Kansas City Missouri who makes award-winning films, videos, and installations that have been exhibited internationally. She is part of the collaborative, artist-run space Plug Projects and is distributed by The Collectif Jeune Cinéma.
Meg Jamieson is a filmmaker, writer, and professor for over a decade whose work includes poetic, experimental personal documentaries and work with community groups to challenge dominant historical narratives. She lives in Lawrence Kansas and is an assistant professor
in Film and Media Studies at the University of Kansas.
Mary C. Taylor
Mary is an Animator and Illustrator at Flipt Pictures in Kansas City, MO. Her shorts have screened at numerous film festivals including Animation Block Party and Cucalorus. Mary was a recipient of the Robert Altman Emerging Filmmaker Grant and a previous board member of KC Women in Film & TV.
Misti has worked as production designer and art director on many films, including NAILBITER, THE SUBLIME AND BEAUTIFUL and THE ONLY GOOD INDIAN, which premiered at the Sundance Film Festival. As a writer/director, her most current work is the Daytime Emmy nominated Amazon Prime series RED BIRD.
