ASTRA TAYLOR brings her new film “EXAMINED LIFE”
Astra Taylor is a writer and documentarian born in Winnipeg, Manitoba in 1979 and raised in Athens, Georgia. In 2004, she was the associate producer for PERSONS OF INTEREST (Sundance 2004), which examined the round up and detention of Muslims and Arabs in the aftermath of September 11th. EYEDEAL WOMAN DEADLINE EXTENDED!
The Eyedeal Woman Short Film Competition is open to filmmakers of ALL AGES and ANY GENDER. Film interpretation of an “ideal woman” can be narrative, documentary, animation or experimental. Films must be five (5) minutes or less and submitted in the form of either VHS or DVD.
